Game wont go beyond 30 fps

So lately for some reason, my game has started capping itself at 30 fps and Idk why I know my computer can easily run it at 240 but I usually keep it capped at 144hz. I have looked at Task Manager to see if for some reason my CPU was being used too much by something but it was only at 25%. I tried reinstalling the graphics driver and that worked at first but then it just did it again. This is the only game it does this with too I was playing AC6 recently and have not had any issues with that game. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?
