Hello everyone,

I played FFXI from the original beta on PC & PS2 (played on both) for about 6 years. I then went on to play other MMOs further down the line (the last one I played was FFXIV). I was thinking about potentially getting back into FFXI, since it's still around and still has a community. I had a few questions though, if someone would be willing to answer them:

1. How big is the community for FFXI currently? Is there a specific server I should be shooting for?
2. I mainly play at night while i'm working (9pm-6am CDT). Is there a server or group that would fit my playtime?
   
3. How much has it changed since I stopped? I know that's a really loaded question, because it has been like 13 years, but i guess really the question is toward, is it more/less soloable since then? Are there any dramatic improvements that were made?
4. Is there any first party or 3rd party interface/graphical upgrades that one can use?
   
5. I don't even have my old copy, so I would need to buy from scratch. Around about how much would it cost for me to buy the full game all expansions?
