your Electric Forest experience?

So I'm deciding whether to go to Electric Forest next year but I'm a bit skeptical. The only festivals I've been to have been smaller scale (like Big Dub and Spaghetti Fest) with the exception of Life in Color which I didn't like too much. I'm so used to the "tightknit" community of having only 1000-5000 festi goers that I'm kinda worried about the impersonal size of E Forest. What was your experience like?
