Hello everyone, im here for advice. A few months back i was looking at getting myself and exotic pet and when i saw a ferret i fell in love with them. I did my research about ferrets and it said they tend to have a strong smell and they are better to have in pairs so that deter me from buying one bc i want my pet to have a good life. The issue is that today i got a ferret as a surprise gift. I would love to keep him but i also want to be realistic about the situation which is i live in an apartment with family members and one of them has had a kidney transplant so i would have to keep him in my room most of the time. We would be able to roam free as much as he likes. For dimesion,my room is fairly big since i have the master bedroom, i have a queen bed and at least 4-9ft around the bed. So my question is should i have a ferret under this conditions? Would he be happy been there. Mind you i would of course train him and take him with me everywhere possible and he would get lots of time from me. Thank you for your help in advanced.
