Deaf ferret hisses

Post Body

My baby has waardenburg syndrome and is completely deaf confirmed by our vet. Ontop of that, she was a rescue and has never had normal interactions with other ferrets because of the trams from her orginal home. She always hisses like this when we play and I know by now it's not that she's upset or in pain, she just does it. I've been curious what she actually thinks hissing means, considering she can't hear herself and doesn't know what hissing means by example of other ferrets.
