How can ask out a women my age that I do not know in the most appropriate pro feminist way possible?

I want to ask out a woman I don't know in a way that could not offend her as I have tried asking women out before and feel as though it could be awkward for them. I feel guilty that I could make someone uncomfortable how would you feminists suggest I go about it. I have never been in a relationship so I am very unskilled and could accidentally offend someone thank you.
