advice for putting ON weight and directing it to ass/hips/thighs

I have been underweight my entire life. I am tall, but a lot of my height is in my legs so while I'm very skinny, I don't look malnourished. I'm 188cm (6'2") and 55kg (122lbs).
I'd like to do as much as I can in dietary changes because I have a chronic illness that limits my ability to exercise dramatically.
Any tips on foods I should be looking for to put on weight?
