I'm curious whether anyone's found any games that include femboys in a respectful context. I know plenty of games have character customization so you could theoretically create a femboy character in them, but I'm specifically asking about games with pre-made femboys built into the story.

From searching Steam and Itchio, pretty much every game tagged with femboys is sexual and very fetishy. They also don't seem to make much distinction between trans women, femboys, and sissy fetishists, which sucks. The few games that aren't sexual appear to be joke meme games, which is cool I guess but not really what I'm going for either.

One game that looked promising was Girls Girls Girls, which is a dating sim with admittedly some sexual content. However just playing the demo and going through the reviews, it seemed to cater more towards fetishists and wasn't really representative of irl femboys. Now granted it was based off Japanese otokonoko culture, which I'm not really familiar with, but the fact that the playerbase compared the love interests to femboys was kinda discouraging. Especially because in the game, the characters were basically girls with male equipment - they went by she/her pronouns, they always looked female even when not "performing" in drag, and their gender identity was never really brought up outside of a rare joke for laughs. So yeah, I couldn't really find any of the characters relatable because they were too pretty and girly for me to be able to see myself in them.

Anyway I don't mean to be so negative but frankly when I'm looking for representation, I'm looking for something that isn't so fetishy or obviously ignorant of the real struggles of femboys. I'd make my own femboy games myself but it's just so hard...so yeah if anyone knows any good games with good representation, let me know!
