About me

I studied biology in college, then learned to code a few years later while living in Silicon Valley. I started programming at a fintech company in San Francisco, then moved to Boston to work in biotech.

My hobbies include:

• Food: the greatest pleasure in life?
• Reading and writing. I love reading sci-fi and doing crossword puzzles. On the 'writing' side, I will provide a free haiku on the topic of your choice upon request.
• Art and visual design. I like visiting art museums; I love modern art like this and this. In terms of visual design, I adore simple, bold, bright work, especially 'Swiss style.' It's hard to beat something like 'rawr.'
• Music: I love listening to alternative and some pop, with a splash of hip-hop and kpop. My latest favorite is My Golden Years by The Lemon Twigs.
• Programming: I'm a lifelong learner, and I have a blast learning how computers work.
• Games and (gasp!) anime.

A bit more about me... since we're on Reddit, some of my favorite subs include r/pixelart, r/thenightfeeling, and r/cassettefuturism. I'm one of the ~five people on the planet who don't really like camping or hiking. I'm on the shy side.

In terms of life plans: I'm leaning against having kids. My dream is more of a DINK-with-a-dog lifestyle where we travel fairly often and eat all the food. I love cities and car-free living; I find a skyline more beautiful than a forest. That said, I could also live in a suburb with a backyard for the dog (and a pizza oven!).

Relationships / Kinks

Physical touch goes a long way for me; I love cuddling. The age range I'm looking for isn't strict, but you're probably close to my age or skewing younger (say, 28-40). You're healthy and take care of yourself. If you're located near me, that's awesome -- for the right person, though, I'm open to starting long-distance.

I don't think kink is the most important thing in life, or even in a relationship; you'll also see me post in non-kink personals subreddits. Kink adds an awesome extra dimension, though.
