hey there. This will be a longish post but I am certain in what I am looking for so it’s worth the read and listen.

first, this post might be unconventional for this subreddit. However I figured I might as well try posting here too. I am interested in pursuing a relationship with someone with a dominant personality. this does not necessarily mean my sexual preferences. From a relationship standpoint I would prefer my partner to be dominant or lean dominant. I would say I have a submissive leaning switch personality. the sexual preferences aspect can be discussed once there is clear and obvious chemistry and attraction both ways. But as far as things BDSM related goes, I am fairly inexperienced and I don’t want to rush into anything. I am interested at least in non-traditional gender roles (hence the sub leaning switch), and I know there is someone who can match my vibe out there.

I’m here to find someone who shares similar interests in various topics for a solid foundation of friendship with the goal of it turning into a relationship. That would be the intention that it leads to more but would depend on vibe check, compatibility, physical attraction. I only would want to talk to someone with the same intention. I need to get to know someone well before it can move past friendship, but I promise I’m worth the wait.

I really want to travel a lot in the future. I have lived in Australia and New Zealand, and have very TBD plans to go back, at least for holiday. Hoping someone shares a wanderlust that I do.

I am into spiritual topics big time. I practice meditation, I like reading about Buddhism, I collect crystals, and I’m a reiki practitioner (I can totally send you distance reiki). I love astrology and I’m looking for the right match where we just talk about transits and new moon rituals for hours.

my big three are Aquarius sun, Taurus Moon, Cancer Rising. I have a bunch of 6th house capricorn placements, so you know I already have done a lot of self work in my life. (I feel like this is an astrology r4r right now😅).

I also practice tarot but its less so. hoping I meet someone who can teach me a thing or two in any of these topics! would be fun to do readings and chart analyses of one another.

I feel confident I’m ready to dive into a new chapter with someone and really want compatibility and companionship over anything with another person. It would be a slow burn but that’s what makes it great.

I enjoy deep intellectual conversations mixed with banter and memes. I really love it listening to someone talk about their passions, even if I dont understand it. intelligence is really attractive to me. if you work in a STEM field, or are into psychology in any way please step to the front.

I dislike small talk. asking “how are you?” is the worst form of conversation starter. questions like that are reserved for already established connections.

I play the ocarina, very well I would say (but I couldn’t tell you what note means what)…I can play by ear so give me requests! It would be fun if you played an instrument. Put me in my place by absolutely shredding it on the harp.

I have a chonker kitty who I adore and will absolutely send you pics. I prefer cats to dogs but will always welcome pics of either.

TV: breaking bad, seinfeld, better call saul, south park, golden age simpsons, curb, always sunny, the office, star trek (TNG is best, debate me! actually don't because I only have really seen TNG, some voyage, the lower decks (good show too) )

Movies: not much of a movie guy but I enjoy the John Wick series, comedies, and sci fi. Maybe you can change that?

Games: Fallout, Bioshock, Prey, Overwatch (duo with me?) , League of Legends, civ, stardew, a bunch of others in my steam library collecting dust

Books: not much BUT, have just finished "The Heart of the Buddha's teaching" which is pretty good, Rapture by John Shirley, anything dystopian or sci fi is good in my book (haha...pun)

annnnd here are some buzzwords about me as I have written a bit already: gaming, NFL (jets fan…sadly😂), PC building, pokemon, documentaries, Carl Jung / talking about the unconscious mind, nerdy, aspiring DnD player (PLEASE GET ME TO PLAY), former (but re-aspiring) podcast creator.
