Long story short, someone who lurked on a similar subreddit to this one saw an old (as in, several years old) post of mine and recently contacted me. However, they might've ghosted me (if the person I'm talking about is seeing this: if you're not doing that and are just busy, or if you just don't think it's going to work, at least say so - if you lurk in these corners of Reddit, you probably already know they're paved with the bones of people who have a... complicated history with other people just disappearing) so, making a new and updated version of that old post, since the old one is, well, old.

So, first things first, I live in Milan, and I'd rather meet someone nearby, since the relationship I had in between my first post on this subreddit and this one (a relationship completely unrelated to this subreddit, even though she is a Redditor) ended because of well, long distance being a bitch and a half - and our own inexperience, I guess. So yeah, close(-ish) distance is a must.

What has not changed since then and now, I'm into the usual Reddit nerd stuff (anime/manga, speculative fiction, board/tabletop roleplaying games, video games), I'm a massive cat dude (in fact, I take care of an old neighbour's cat when they go on vacation, there's pictures of the fur ball and her brother in my post history) and, speaking of history, I have an actual degree in History, and might have a bit of an obsession with the subject.

Now, for the sake of honesty, I have to disclose that I'm on the autism spectrum (so, I'm quite introverted, and I do not handle crowded or noisy places very well - I prefer hanging out in homes, libraries, chill bars, museums, that kinda places) and I'm slightly hard of hearing, even though my penchant for listening to cheesy power metal might also be to blame, here. :P As for what I'm looking for in a relationship, if it's on [looks like the links to those subreddits got deleted but, they're on my post history] I'm probably into it but, that goes without saying.
