I'm sitting alone in Germany after having moved here a while ago for work. Obviously I have friends here but nobody that I feel close enough to open up with truly.
You see, I feel like most of societal pressure on men is to keep their emotions to themselves, to not embrace things that are considered unmanly, and the like. I'd like to find a female friend that I can open up with completely, much in the sense of two girls who consider one another BFFs. Personally, I'd prefer it if the girl in question were more of a dominating personality type, as I seem to get along much better with that type of personality. I guess it's the Mean Girls persona that is most interesting to me. So that's naturally why I'm interested in finding a dominant female. If this is a dynamic, that's cool. If it remains platonic, that's cool too.
Anyway, about me: I'm 39, I am very much into fitness and hope you are as well, I love to run and run 25-35 miles a week. I love to travel, to experience new cultures, to learn new languages, and I love to cook. Mostly Italian food from family recipes that have been passed down to me. Everything from scratch, of course! I love being challenged and pushed and have had quite a successful career and am very extroverted. But again, it would be very nice to find someone with whom I could really open up to. I also love sports, both playing (tennis in particular) and watching (the normal American ones, plus I guess I have to like soccer since I live in Germany).
