My oh my, it's been a long time since I made one of these. I've been tied up with pursuing treatment at a residential mental health facility outside of Nashville for a month. Spent a week and a half in a PHP program in Chattanooga and now I'm on the other side of East TN in Knoxville at another PHP/transitional house; been here for about 3½ weeks now.
I'm real close to Sevierville/Pigeon Forge but unfortunately I can't go anywhere outside of clinical until I graduate to IOP (and stay at the future IOP house) and can get a job and find some sort of permanent housing. I'm so itchy to get back to everyday life, I've been in treatment since September and now that I'm in a much better headspace, I want to meet new people and find someone special.
Anyway, where do I start? Buckle up, it's going to be a wild ride.
I'm a 25-year-old Black woman (26 in less than 3 months) that is an Aquarius and INFJ-T. I have brown eyes, nice-ish lips and my fingers/hands are my favorite part of my body. I'm pretty thick but I've been working on eating better and exercising. I'm thinking of having weight loss surgery in the future but we'll see what happens. My ultimate goal weight is 120-140 lbs but hey, I'll get there. Also, I'm 5 feet, 7 inches tall.
Hobbies/interests: Writing, reading, music, playing computer/video games, photography, watching TV and movies, people watching, traveling and so much more that I can't think of right now. Oh, also, I started journaling on Day 3 of treatment and have been doing it ever since. It's been such a joy to have someone "listen to" my honest feelings. If we get close, I'd love to share some of my written journey from those days.
So, before all this shit went down in my life, I had plans to start pre-reqs for nursing school in January. But now that I've been thrown into an entirely new situation, I'm playing with the idea of attending online classes at WGU and getting my Bachelor's in Business or something like that. We'll see.
Hnm, some random stuff about me: I love animals (especially cats!), I only drink socially (haven't had a drink in three months though haha), I don't do drugs, I'm totally clean and disease free... Wee.
What am I looking for in a guy?
- Someone who is taller than me (I'm 5'7" in case you already forgot haha)
- Someone who has nice hair (I've always been attracted to medium/long hair, something I can touch and play with)
- Has good qualities such as being kind, sweet, honest, caring, lovable, affectionate, gentle, etc...
- Between the ages of 23-31
- Displays chivarly to me and also other women (you know, holding doors open, being courteous, all that fun stuff)
- Likes and enjoys expressing love languages (My top three are words of affirmation, quality time and gift giving/receiving... but I love them all!)
- Enjoys going out and doing stuff together but also enjoys hanging at home, watching movies and ordering in food... just to name an example!
- Likes animals! When I find my own place, I'd love to adopt a kitten since I had to give up my cats when we lost our place
- Lives in Knoxville/East TN or somewhere within a few hours drive at the very most; I want us to spend time together regularly and build emotional intimacy with each other.
- Has a car, so we can do stuff!
Other misc things I like: Blue eyes (this isn't a requirement but it would be a great plus!), soft and sweet personalities, someone who loves to have deep conversations, lots and lots of cuddles.
Basically, I'm looking for a long term relationship. No FWBs, "situationships" or "cheating." I want someone who is completely single and emotionally/mentally available to connect with and eventually fall in love. Again, I need an in-person connection. I've tried long distance and it just doesn't work for me at this point in my life.
I want someone to hold hands with, go on dates, go out and run errands, lots of physical affection, cuddling up on cold nights, taking spontaneous drives with our favorite music playing, hanging out with friends, physical intimacy, all of that fun stuff.
There's tons more to say but I'll leave it there to give us stuff to build upon. If you decide to message me, PLEASE put effort into it. Tell me the basics (age, height, hair color, eye color, body type, etc) your location, your hobbies, your intentions for a relationship and a recent picture of yourself. Whatever else you want to add to the message is fine; longer messages tend to catch my eye more quickly.
Also, please put the word "Spooky" in your message so I know you actually read all of this.
Stay sweet!
