First solo trip guidance/advice
Post Body

Hi all, I’m looking to go away for 3 nights in September. I am 18, will be 19 for the trip, I’m above average height but look very young for my age (could pass off as 14-15). Don’t drink anymore and not really interested in clubbing, prefer more sporty activities.

Option one: Paris - I’ve been there before, had an amazing time - can speak A2 French, I spend 1-2 teaching myself French daily and I can easily get by without issues - lots of things to explore - however it’ll be more expensive than Warsaw - can get flights from the airport closest to me, that doesn’t require a taxi ride - flight arrives at noon/afternoon time - is way more unsafe than Poland, as a woman alone I feel more a target

Option two: Warsaw - never been before - love Poland and quite interested in it - cheaper flights, accommodation and less costly than Paris - much safer - I don’t speak the language (I’d learn the basics, bit of a language nerd) so I feel like I’d be a bit nervous going and not understanding everything - flight gets in very late, I’d arrive at the center after midnight and I’m not sure if it’s wise to be walking around that late

If anyone has any advice or imput:) would be great
