Bought this cute honeycomb shelf from World Market. Two brackets on the shelf to, presumably, drill two holes into the wall. Here's the thick screw and skinny screw it came with.
Yet, the instructions said only a screwdriver is needed. Huh? How so if I'm trying to ATTACH this wall shelf to a thick, solid wall? So, I ignored it and drilled holes into the wall. One for the big one, then stupidly another smaller one when I realized that wasn't working.
But, when I drilled, I could only go so far before hitting another solid layer that didn't let me go through. (This above my fireplace, btw.)
So WTF am I supposed to do?
