*I don't know if it's actually buildup or what, that's part of the problem.

I'm extremely frustrated so hear me out...This all began when I got my hair re-colored in November (single process dark brown color...got it back in June as well so nothing has changed). Ever since then, every time I've showered and blow dried my hair, there are sections at the crown of my head that feel greasy/oily. I don't know why. At first I thought, "OK I probably didn't wash the conditioner out all the way" or "Maybe I used too much conditioner." Nope.

So then I thought, "hey it's been a year since I last bought a soft water shower head attachment, maybe it needs to be replaced!" So I got not 1, but 2 different attachments. Neither are helping!

The same with shampoos that remove buildup/hard water deposits. So far I tried a clarifying shampoo (forgot the brand, this was last year) and both this and last year I tried Living Proof Triple Detox Shampoo. Neither helped. The latter just made my hair texture feel so much weirder and like, rubbery...

I have no idea why my hair is continuously greasy. This SAME problem happened last summer but the shower head attachment fixed it once and for all. I don't know why 2 different shower head attachments haven't helped this time around. But I'm getting so annoyed with my hair.

Does anyone have any advice, experience, suggestions etc. to help out? For reference I have long thick dark brown hair. Never had this issue until last year. I'm stumped.
