- I mean in your own profile
I’ve had two people recently have a desire that I know I won’t be compatible with remove it after I asked about it and kind of dismiss my question
So for context, I know I won’t get on with someone who has rough, being a brat tamer or being dominant (only) - but I don’t mind if they have being submissive as well. So I don’t match with anyone with those and ➖them. I feel like I need some sort of criteria because the numbers are overwhelmingly otherwise.
Person 1 - matched with them on hinge and then thought they looked familiar. Sure enough they’re in my Feeld likes and had “being dominant” so I hadn’t responded. But I had left them in there undecided because cute, and sometimes I just think owwww what a shame! When I asked they said oh it’s just what girls usually like so I put it on there, not really that bothered. They then took it off. Unsurprisingly perhaps, it didn’t work out at the texting phase and it amused me to see they put it back on.
Person 2 - matched by accident, my finger slipped, I hadn’t done before because they had “rough”. I thought the universe clearly meant this to be so I’ll ask them and said not really my thing, they said oops mistake was rushing doing profile and took it off. I don’t think this is going to work either (not for that reason)
So on balance, after a rigorous scientific study of cohort of 2, I don’t think I’ll chance it again. I take kink kind of seriously, if someone wants to be a Dom I respect that, it’s just not for me. I don’t want someone to repress their wishes on my account. I’m sure most dominant people could resist the urge to slap my ass without my consent, although it has happened, it’s just that I’m pretty sure that I won’t get on with them sexually, from experience so far.
So my question, do you otherthink your desires as much as I do, or am I over reacting and is just a meaningless thing people just put on profiles that I should take less notice of?
