I want to know if anyone else is having the same issues as me:

29M queer/enm/married.

I’m still getting maybe 1-4 matches a week, but no one ever responds to my opening messages. In fact, it seems they never look because I never see the double check indicating read receipts. If they do respond, I’ll never hear back after. Also, I noticed pings used to work for me pretty well even as recent as 2 months ago, now it seems I never get responses/results from them.

Here are my theories as to why:

1. The app isn’t working so people don’t even know I’ve matched or messaged them

2. They’re very busy, overwhelmed, and flooded with matches/messages and they just haven’t gotten to mine, which is perfectly understandable.

3. I haven’t done enough to stand out from the rest. I think I have a decent profile describing who I am, what I like, and what I’m looking for. Not everyone will be interested and that’s completely alright with me.

The app certainly was better before the update and all of the glitches. More people are on the app now and I know that guys (despite their sexuality) outnumber women by a lot which overwhelms them. I don’t only go for women but am attracted to femininity/feminine individuals.
