I'm a guy in a regional area in Australia, I'm lucky to see 3-5 new profiles a week.

Are pings/likes working - is the app 'broken', do I really see new people when they start?

I'm paid up (got the 3 mth discount) a couple of months ago.

So I wanted to test this out, but recently I haven't had much success...

I made a fake Woman's profile (please try not to hate me) and then pinged my real profile with the free ping.

- The ping worked

- I liked the ping and we got connected - well I got connected with myself...

Then I disconnected our profiles, I'm just not that into me.

- The fake profile reappeared in my deck instantly and vice-versa

- I liked the fake profile and the like worked.

In essence, likes and pings are working for me, I'm just not very popular.

My VERY obviously fake profile (one glossy photo, no bio) got 25 likes in just over 2 hours before I deleted it.

On the plus side today I pinged someone and we're chatting... - hang in there everyone xo
