My Feeld chat messages never update if the app is open. I have to close it entirely via the app switcher and reopen in order to see any messages. Background app refresh is on. It’s really annoying. I thought one of my connections had ghosted me because all I could see were messages I had sent. After I fully closed the app and reopened it, there were several messages he’d sent in between mine. I looked like a complete psycho asking “where did you go?” only to find out he’d been replying the whole time. Does this happen to anyone else? My wife has the same model phone as me and her chats show up in real time.
Yup the app is glitchy AF and has been like this for years now. I try to initiate convo and move to another platform if I’m interested in meeting up fairly quickly bc I’ve missed messages for days and folks disconnected prob thinking I ignored them.
