I’m not sure if it’s just catfish, married men who are not ENM, or people who are shy about meeting but there are so many time wasters.

Don’t get me wrong, I match with a lot of people, I live in a super populated city and I have just over 5000 likes 2 months after redownloading the app.

And it’s not every single person but probably at least 20% who want to talk dirty, ask to send photos, facetime / phone sex, but always have an excuse as to why they can’t meet in person. Whether it’s “traveling”, “tired” (but not too tired to talk dirty and beg for photos), or even unmatching when I press about meeting in person or if I refuse to engage in sending nude photos or get into very lengthy explicit dirty talk before even meeting.

And I make it really clear that I’m not interested in penpals / i’m not into sexting. I love sex, actual sex irl. Chatting doesn’t do it for me lol. It is a means to an end.

And I did have the app about a year or two ago and back then people were much more down to meet and also were far less aggressive.

Some guy got mad at me for refusing to send nudes after only 3 messages, I told him I was not comfortable sending nudes to someone I barely know and he freaked out on me and called me a “prude” and to “go back to hinge because this app isn’t for vanilla people”

I fear that it’s become a bit too popular, especially as a super sexually open community, that it now attracts certain types of people who are looking to pump and dump on demand. And because it’s a more open app, they can be open about their intentions and get matches whereas on a more “vanilla” app, guys who just want sex have to lie about their motives in order to get matches / dates / sex.
