Mystcraft causing unplayable stuttering and lags

Hi !

I've been playing a custom Pixelmon modpack with a friend for a while now, and we don't have a lot of feature heavy mods aside from Pixelmon (mostly decoration ones)

Recently I've added Mystcraft because I need a LOT of Quartz, Lapis and Clay, but the second i've warped inside an Age the server started lagging and my game kept getting 10 seconds stutterings when generating chunks, rendering the game unplayable.

I'm on 1.12.2 btw
