What I mean is, a subreddit where you can place a bounty on a mod you want created or a mod you want updated. Other commenters can then add money into the pot if they also like the idea. Then anyone who fufills the bounty gets the money. (Minimum of $10 for a bounty.)

In the iOS jailbreaking community, we have r/tweakbounty which does the same thing but for phone modifications.

How would you feel about this? Would you be interested in such a thing?

Also, would this be against EULA? I know you cannot monetize mods by selling them individually, but this feels more akin to Patreon which many mod authors use. The resulting mod would be free, so you’d be funding development, not buying the mod.

edit: for now, it seems like it would not be.
