I'm having some slight issues getting raw materials for my base:

1. I can't find a squid anywhere - JourneyMap says there's none nearby, even though my base is right next to an ocean (within a chunk or two). Are the spawn rates lower in DW20? And could me being near a village have an impact?

2. I built this mob spawning room (perfectly dark, sealed off with dark glass, toggleable powered lights), and nothing spawns in it. I've tried standing near it, away from it, leaving Minecraft on for a couple hours... nothing even spawns. I have nothing placed that blocks spawning, and the area is chunk loaded.

If anyone has ideas as to why these things are happening, please reply - I'm at a loss.
