Interesting ways to make EU?

In my opinion, IC2 Solar panels are pretty overpowered and boring, I try not to use them much. I'm looking for fun alternatives.
Im using FTB unleashed. Some of my current work:
I have a station far from base with 60 water mills and a batbox cart running back and forth. Works surprisingly good. (The recipe for energy loaders wasn't working for some reason, I had to admin it and threw the ingredients into lava)
Automated sugar farm, that crafts sugar and coke-ovens it twice, giving 2k EU and 100mb creosote oil per sugar cane. (Very inefficient and slow , but was fun to make.)
Does anyone have any other fun idea?
