I am working on a reference for a colleague to join a USG Agency and I was surprised at the questions asked. There were several questions about if the candidate has sexual harassment allegations, etc, to the point there we alnmost leading questions. I was quite surprised, this sounds like a legal grey area. Why didnt they ask about financial misconduct? Has anyone else seen this? Is this even legal? Even if I had negative information about someone, I would never put it in there as I could see massive legal blowback. Has anyone else seen this? Thoughts?
