I’m still pretty new to Federal Service, but I’ll be getting to two years in the beginning of June. I’m on a GS11-12 track. After my one year last year, my supervisor said I wasn’t quite at a GS12 yet, so they made a note to review in six months. Six months came and went and they never got the reminder to review for my GS12 when I asked about it, and in January my group went through some reorganizing and now I went from an economist to the regional economist. I’d like to ask about the potential for moving up the ladder, but I still have an interim supervisor and my new supervisor won’t be hired until at least April. Should I ask someone about the GS raise now or should I to wait it out until June and spring it on my new supervisor? Thanks for the advice!
