Hey guys, after almost cancelling last night, starting to unpack and crying a river full of tears, I read back all the messages from my previous post and decided to bite the bullet, push through and go.
I can not tell you how supportive this place has been. I honestly don’t think I would be going through with it without all the kind , encouraging, informative posts that I’ve read.
I can’t lie and say thank I am not petrified but I’ve made the first step and am on the way to the airport now, something that a month ago i wouldn’t have been able to do!
It’s going to be a LONG day. I fell asleep at 2am, up at 4.30am to meet my sister, flight is due to take off at 10.50am . 10 hour flight , then a 3 hour journey to my location. (I’m travelling from London to Jamaica).
I don’t think I’ll have Wi-Fi on the plane as I’m flying with Tui but would love any kind of support, chat, tips, prayer or information during this journey.
Sending love and safe journeys to anyone else that’s flying today and encouraging anyone else who is thinking of backing out, to go for it! We have one life! Go on adventures, make memories, live and laugh !
Side note: I probably won’t be as optimistic when I’m on the plane but I’ll try haha
