Had my first flight at 7:30am but it was delayed for 3 hours while sitting on the plane. Of course I had already taken my meds before I knew it was delayed and slept on the plane until it took off.
Missed connecting flight so had I a 8 hour layover at a hotel. My next flight ended up being at 9:30pm. We hit bad turbulence halfway through the hour flight I was freaking out and grabbed ahold of the lady’s arm next to me out of panic. She was very supportive. But I reached for my meds in a panic and took more. I’ve never taken that much in one day.
The flight eventually smoothed out towards the end but I am so embarrassed the way I reacted to the moderate turbulence. It was very sudden and lasted a couple of minutes throwing us around.
I wish I didn’t react this way. I wish I didn’t need to medicate. I’ve been on hundreds of flights but I still react this way to bad sudden turbulence.
I know it’s jello and I know it’s safe. But wow it sends panic through me!
