First time I have been to a college game that had an attendance of 63,000 . It was a crazy experience. I went to the game for Southern Illinois against Brigham Young.
The music was not what I was expecting from a Mormon university. Some of the music was talking about buying drinks and such, which I liked the music, I was just surprised that Brigham Young used it.
The BYU Cougars look like they are going to be a pretty good team this year, while the Salukis struggled. I feel they should have flown out a couple of days before so they could acclimate to the higher elevation a little better, but it is what it is.
BYU 41 Southern Illinois 13.
The Salukis could not muster 300 yards of total offense and a couple of key penalties hurt them.
