I once rented a room from a woman for about 3 months. One of the things that made me leave was the toilet.

There was constantly liquid shit dried on the back of the seat. I wiped it up a few times, but for the most part I just perched with my thighs on the front to avoid it. I didn't want to embarrass her by always cleaning it up. Maybe she'd finally gaf and do it herself. Nope.

She was fat, middle aged, and seemed to have an alcohol habit. She also related to me she had back issues, so there's that.

It never got better, and it's one of the things that made me move.

I wonder if she just had really bad eyesight or something...There was another roommate there too. I wonder if he noticed. He was not fat, btw.

If I had to guess, I feel like she fucking knew, but she had some severe laziness about dealing with it. Like she must see it every time and think "there's my shit stain" but just put it out of her mind. "Maybe I'll get it next time." Maybe she could not confront the horror of the loss of her ability to shit properly.

I just really really hope I never sink that low.
