[Sanity] When the UK introduced a sugar tax, some people claimed it was pointless and/or fatphobic - but look at how much less calories are in things when you just use less sugar!

US carbonated drinks aren't as good imo. They use high fructose corn syrup in place of regular sugar, and it really shows.
