What are you up to today?
Ok, so I have a weird question and I have no idea where to ask it, and when I google, it gives me āhealthiestā options like alternatives, thatās not what I want.
What is the best kind of pork to buy? Is there any kind of variation?
Like usually I get eggs from our family farm, but when I donāt, I buy free range/pasture raised. I usually get meat from cows on my dadās best friendās farm. When I canāt, I get grass fed.
What is the equivalent for pigs? Or is there even one? Like usually I just ābuy baconā and thatās it. I have no other source for pig other than from grocery stores so I want to know what Iām buying.
Edit: also, as of today I am 1lb away from my next GW! The next one is the final goal!!! Iāve also eaten above maintenance (about 2k cals and my TDEE is 1600) for 2 days now, so Iāll take it!
Dammit! I wish I had the link, post on r/findareddit and ask for a reddit for this.
I read a comment a few days ago where someone mentioned finding an amazing reddit community for this and they felt so comfortable in it and that there were really practical tips and advice and no gimmicks.
Wish I remembered the sub name!
Edit: āthisā being losing hair due to stress.

Thank you! I have really become a label hound for looking at ingredients. Like, if Iām buying rice, I want there to be rice in my bag, not rice and orzo and wheat and etc.
So I am definitely looking at the ingredients! Thank you!
