I live in a pretty flat city and a single-speed fat bike would be the perfect winter commuter for me. Right now I ride a normal fixie during winter, but I would appreciate wider tires for the really snowy days.
I have two colleagues that bought fixie fat bikes in a Walmart in Detroit many years ago and I’m really jealous of them
All the local big-box stores and bike shops I’ve tried only have fat bikes with disc brakes and lots of gears. I don’t want to deal with cleaning and maintenance delicate components
Does anyone know where I can find a fat fixie or single speed in Canada? Either in Ontario or a store that ships to Ontario.
