I have a 2011 Pugsley with 1X drivetrain and hydraulic brakes.
I never ride it and I promised myself I would try to stay in "shape" this Winter.
It has the offset fork and heavy offset stock wheels. : ( They gotta go!
Does anyone have tubeless info (yay or nay) w/ these rims:
ALEX Blizzerk Pro rim (850g) / width OD 82mm
or
Origin8 Bolt Alloy Fat (750g) / width OD 90mm
(The Origin8 rims are 22 dollars cheaper than the ALEX rims)
I can get new MAXXIS Mammoths for $30 from a friend. What say you about traction and setting up tubeless?
Also considering the Carver O'Beast carbon fork.
Any other info / tips will be greatly appreciated.
(I work in a shop and have experience setting up tubeless and building wheels)
