Wardrobe Overhaul and Capsules: What's a normal price/piece for quality?
Post Body

I'm pregnant and moving, so over the last month or so I've gotten rid of so many clothes. I just don't see a point in saving an $8 Target t-shirt for 6 months to year when it will fit again (if it ever does, eep!). I'm also FINALLY settling into an industry, and have a toddler at home.

The color palette thread the other day inspired me to do a wardrobe overhaul late this spring (baby due March), with higher quality pieces in just a few colors I know I will wear and look good on me. Here's more extraneous info about me, but I'm very open to general advice in this realm for others that may search this up later. I am more casual than formal, and work in a casual setting (basically no graphic tees or ripped jeans), so weekday and weekend clothes can be the same. I want to love skirts and dresses, but rarely wear them. Not specific on what I'm going for, something intentional and somewhat unique and definitely comfortable. I am curves.

The point of that info being, I am over my extensive yet cheap wardrobe and all the decisions that come with it, but I've been thrifting and buying impulsively on cheap deals that I don't even have a style of my own or know around how much quality clothes should cost or where to get them. What's your advice?
