[Steam Deck] Can the deck handle a 4x map? I want to play the elm creek stevie edit, but it's not working well so far!

So I finally figured out the path to the mod folder on the steam deck and when I loaded up the modded map it gets insanely choppy. It's unplayable tbh. Kinda sad but if there is any way it could be played lmk! But, if not then what are some good good maps that would run well on the deck.

I have turned on FSR, although I have never been able to get it to run on any game. set my frame rate to 40fps and all that, I am running the compatibility mode with proton GE, I am not sure if that affects anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
