Weapons recommendations?

I've played a while now and I'm still using the MS16 rifle from very early on. I have the Mixtape sniper, El Capirote (bow), MS16, and Lethal Dose (side arm). I'm currently rank 6 and haven't bought many weapons. Any recommendations? Also which resolver weapon if any should I use?
