So. I've been making my way through FC5 and since the game's like "Hey, you get a cash bonus for liberating places undetected" and I'm like "Cool, I prefer stealthing when I have the option anyway" I stealth my way through Fall's End, silently taking everyone down.
It was tricky, took a reload or two but I managed it... And then the air support gets called in anyway? By who? I took everyone out and barely even came close to being spotted. Am I missing something or does it seriously happen no matter what?
It just feels kinda dumb 'cause it's like, if you're gonna give me the option of stealth, commit to it. Make the stealth approach harder for this particular town and make no air support the reward for doing stealth anyway or something.
And, look, I know that in the name of narrative conflict you can't always stealth everything. But if you're going to force the air support on me anyway, at least give me a reason like, "Oh, someone got tipped off to you coming" or, idk, something other than letting me waste my time inching through only to be rewarded with "They're calling in air support!" Even though, far as I'm aware, nobody should even know I'm here.
P.S. This isn't actually that big a deal. It doesn't ruin the game or anything but man, it always rubs me the wrong way when a game does something like this.
