Post Body

She was thrown to the floor once again, landing hard on her shoulder. In annoyance she slapped the mat hard with her hand before springing back up to her feet.

'That is enough for today.' Uncle said.

'Once more,' she pleaded, 'I can do this.'

'Then you can show me tomorrow.' He returned.

She knew it was useless to argue. Once he has answered Uncle never went back on his word. It could be irritating, but she always knew she could rely on that. It was a feeling she clung to. Heung had found her on the steps of the monastery. Giving up his life as a monk. He now raised her, unlike the family that had abandonded her.

Heung was good to her. Even spoiling her at times. Though when it came to her training he could be rather strict. Chen knew that's why he had stopped for today. Her annoyance wasn't hidden from him, and patience was her biggest weakness.
