So in the first chapter the POV is this princess and she's called to attend a council meeting between the king and is lords/ministers because they have found the opposing kingdoms fishermen in their waters and think they are spies and decide what to do with them; now this story starts out with the naive princess thinks the world black and white but through the story becomes more hardened, masters politics and eventually rules the her kingdom as the king is bed-ridden/dying and her brother is said t be missing but in the first chapter she comes at odds with the king's half-brother who I want the readers to think he's an antagonist. She says they must be heard or that the other kingdom have prisoners that we want back but the king's brother says to either kill them or imprison them typical bad guy stuff, but then in the 6th or 5th chapter we found him to be a POV character, who has an agenda against the throne for what the royal family did to him and his mother but for his larger scheme must play his part for the kingdom. so how do i make a character who is morally grey bit evil be one of the protagonist of the story and making whoever reads it kinda like him
