Does anyone still read sword & sorcery?

Post Body

I am in the process of re-writing a fantasy novel. It is very dark (I'm a horror writer by genre), violent, and character-driven. Similar to Conan, Kane, Elric. Does anyone know if there is still a market for this type of story? I know it was popular in the 1950's through about the 1980's. I've also heard of a sub-genre called "grimdark" but I don't know if my story qualifies.

Curious as I'm trying to bring additional focus to the story as I rewrite, since I'll be querying when done.
