Fantasy novel with illustrations every chapter?

Post Body

Is that allowed? I’m an illustrator as well as a writer. However I’m mostly focusing on writing a story. I didn’t plan to have a book full of back and worth words and paneling but for every chapter I planned to start/end off with some kind of illustration, whether it be a cute scene with all my characters, or visualizing a very specific scene in ways that a reader’s imagination might be limited. As well as just enjoying drawing out dynamic scenes and giving people a small taste of what the characters they imagine would look like.

I know some people actually prefer to visualize the characters, but I already planned on showing off my cast of characters on my art page. This isn’t me trying to control how people immerse themselves and imagine the world. I just have certain preferences and like to give faces to the characters I’ve crafted.
