Really struggling with Priory of the Orange Tree

Post Body

So, after getting covid in the summer I read a lot of romance fantasy, starting with Crescent City, I then read all of the ACOTAR books, the Gilded Bones (Poppy/Cas) series, first two Outlander books and a few others thrown in.

I am currently 362 pages / 46% into Priory of the Orange Tree and I just... don't care about any of the characters yet. I'm vibing with some of the queer plotlines but I need some action to start happening lol.

Now - I am asking if anyone has read it, and do you think it's worthwhile pursuing? I've got 10hrs left after really struggling with the first 12 (kindle reader).

I hate to leave books unread.... let me know your opinions!!!
