So I’ve heard nothing but good about this series. Went to B&N, saw this and got both. Are they truly good? Did I make a good purchase?

A good thing! Wish I had those versions, they are lovely.
I loved the story but if you want spice, this book isn’t for you. It’s a subplot and minor. It’s very much about the story, salt being all the spice you get (get it? IYKYK).
