I'm contemplating ACOMAF as my next read/listen after the Emily Wilde series (which is so good!), but something is holding me back.
So I almost dnf ACOTAR because I really did not like Tamlin. I know that Feyre doesn't stay with him in ACOMAF but honestly, I disliked his attitude from the get-go and was so pissed by his lackluster reaction to Feyre at the end, after everything she went through to save him! However, I feel like SJM probably meant for the reader to like him in ACOTAR, in order to set up the plot twist in ACOMAF. If that is indeed the case, would I be likely to hate the MMC in the second book too? I wouldn't be able slog through such a long read with another macho, egotistical man-child as a romantic interest.
