I should probably DNF this series but I made the mistake of buying all the audiobooks from Chirp when they were having a sale like a year ago, so I am determined to finish despite the fact that A Touch Of Ruin is one of my least favourite books I have EVER read.

I thought it wouldn’t be as insufferable from Hades POV, and it wasn’t as bad, but it was still rough to get through.

I forgot how many bloody sex scenes there were in ATOR, because I am listening to AGOR and I swear to god there have been four scenes in the last 30 minutes of this book. Don’t get me wrong, I love smut, but this is too much and I can’t help but roll my eyes every time they touch each other.

I just dislike Persephone and what she did in ATOR SO much that I don’t know if there is any redeeming her for me.

Did anyone else struggle with these books? I see this series highly recommended so often and that’s why I picked them up, but so far I’m not seeing the hype. I’m about to start A Touch of Malice and I’m hoping there is some major growth for Persephone.
