I recently finished the first two books of the Kindred Saga by Penn Cole (HIGHLY recommend and thank you to /u/FantasyGirl17 for her post about it!) and am looking for my next obsession. It's between Charissa Week's Witch Walker series and Danielle L. Jensen's Bridge Kingdom. I'm mostly drawn to excellent writing, slow burn, enemies to lovers, adult, and fun/different magic systems. To give you an idea, prior to the Kindred Saga, my favorite reads of this year have been by Carissa Broadbent and A.K. Caggiano.
