First time running a league: Sleeper or ESPN?
Post Body

EDIT: Seeing a lot of hype for Yahoo so thank you for all the responses so far! I only chose ESPN as the comparison bc that’s what I’ve used in the past but by all means, convince me on Yahoo!

EDIT 2: Holy shit, thank you everyone who responded so far. I’m reading every comment as I get time and I appreciate all the detailed input. At this point, it seems like it ultimately comes down to preference but Sleeper and Yahoo seem like the clear winners overall in terms of UI and information. I will be making the trip to Mordor to throw the ESPN app into the fires of Mount Doom as that seems like the only logical reaction at this point according to what I’ve seen in the comments. Thanks everyone!!

I haven’t seem anything posted recently that would help my decision. Hoping those of you who have used both could tell me your experience and which you prefer. I’ve used ESPN in the past and have had good experiences - up-to-date scoring, news breaks, easy to follow player research etc. My only issue with the app is that it’s not very social. The chat feature seems to be more of an afterthought. With Sleeper, that seems to be at the forefront and overall, it seems like it’d be a good app for some of the people in the league who will be playing for the first time.

I’ve seen previous reviews last season that Sleeper was slow or a little buggy but just wondering if anyone who has used it more recently can tell me if there have been any improvements and if it’s worth using for my first league!

Comments

Sleeper. By a million.
