Does your draft position truly effect your season in smaller leagues?
Post Body

I can see draft position having a larger impact in 12-16 man leagues. How about 8 man leagues or 10 man leagues?

In 8 man leagues for example I always see conflicting answers like 7th and 8th pick is the best because you get 2 top 10 players. Then again I’ve also seen answers regarding 5th and 6th being better because you’re in the middle and can watch the trends throughout the draft and adjust accordingly without such a long wait. There’s pros and cons to both, right?

DOES IT EVEN MATTER?

Is there really an optimal draft position in smaller leagues or is it all a moot point? I’d love to hear everyone’s take on it!

Please leave out the lol 8/10 man league hate comments I’d rather see actual discussion and debate! Thanks
